Can you imagine living in your car, even for a day? In the midst of one of the longest heat waves in Southern Ontario? That’s exactly what participants will do in the No Fixed Address charity event today at the Pen Centre in St. Catharines, living and sleeping in their cars for 24 hours.
No Fixed Address aims to raise awareness and help solve the problem of hidden homelessness. People who live in their cars face unique challenges: the lack of space, no washrooms and getting adequate food without a cooking area.
Lawyer Anneli Must and three support staff, Karly Lyons, Alicia Dumoulin and Michelle Colacarro, are representing Graves and Richard as a team at No Fixed Address, beginning today until tomorrow at 10 a.m. Come out to show your support and donate to a great cause: ending hidden homelessness.
